Windows Update Viewer (WUView) is an application that displays information about Windows Updates. WUView uses the Windows Update API and Windows event logs to display details of installed updates. Event log entries are associated with individual updates by using the "KB" number. If an update does not use a KB number, or it isn't presented in a consistent format, no event log entries will be displayed.

I just installed this and it's very cool. Thanks for sharing it. I can think of several times this would have come in handy.

Handy little program to keep inventory of updates, Good to know especially these days since some updates have such a profoundly negative effect on programs and drivers, a big aid for troubleshooting. Thanks!

I recently encountered an update that would not install. It turned out that the recovery partition wasn't large enough. I had to expand the recovery partition from 500MB to 1GB, and the problem was solved. This tool would have helped me figure it out a lot faster.
