I typically use Rufus or Yumi for my USB booting needs, along with BootICE to edit BCD files to and fix the MBR of a non-bootable USB stick. all three are freeware, and are very handy utilities to have.

Tool is now renamed ZOTAC WinUSB Maker v1.1 [ 2014/02/09 ]. I also know that Microsoft offers the same type of easy to use and navigate product. Takes an ISO of a bootable Windows CD/DVD and uses it to create a bootable USB media of the original ISO file.

Also just tried your ISO thumper and its not compatible with this tool or at least this version of it. ISO has to be Vista or greater. Wont do XP. But neither will the Microsoft version of this software either. There is always Grub.
