Did you extract the .rar file?
Also after you extracted the file, it is advisable to go one folder deep inside "\Office" and run the appropriate Setup32.exe or Setup64.exe according to your system type.
At Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System you can find your system type. Usually its 64bit these modern times.

Extract archive, rename folder name to something shorter (example "Office") then run as admin.

Similar to the OP i too am having issues with this. It does install OK but it doesn't seem to be activating? When i open excel it still tells me to provide an activation key license,
Can you provide any info on where i went wrong?

Did you happen to read ALL the posts in this forum AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY and read the advice already listed?
You shouldn't have a problem then. You still get the activate pop up but you have the full functions of the program.
It's a cracked program, take it for what is or don't and purchase it.
I have the same dl. I cant get the KMSpico past Norton or any builtin security. I get a message that it cant be copied or run because of a virus.
I tried turning off Norton 360, but same issue. Any help is much appreciated

Make that uncountable times plus one.
That be disable Windows Defender after you Disable Norton (why do you use Norton anyway? Freebie from Comcast?)
It's worth noting that KMS WILL continued to be detected as a threat until you restore it from quarantine (or wherever your A/V stashes the naughty stuff) and white list it (tell the A/V it's OK and leave it alone). If you don't white list KMS it will continue to be removed and subsequent activation won't happen and you will be back here asking why.
