It's funny how M/S disk cleanup treats "cleaning system files" differently than the disk cleanup programs. If you go back to the earlier days of Windows 2000, it was considered a disk space hog and it was in competition for precious disk space. Video in those days consumed a butt load of disk space, current codecs didn't exist then. M/S still can't let go of compress files to save disk space, which slowed things to a crawl.
I have to admit I still use the clean up system files built-in feature of disk properties.
The only storage space at a premium right now is SSD and easily fixed by archiving files on cheap HDD storage.
