Hi, I tried to install Photoshop 2026. No problem before. I use the included GenP-3.6.9-CGP. Follow the instructions but got the pop ups from Adobe that says unlicensed etc.
Also tried with previous version that worked before but now the sam pop ups.
Get a little frustrating now. Any suggestions?

It seems Adobe's security is blocking your activation tool. Try updating GenP or consider buying a legitimate license. A clean reinstall of Photoshop may also help.

A net salary calculator can help you manage your budget, especially if you plan to purchase a legitimate license.

I tried all the available options with same result. I went back to version 2023 and that works. All I need for editing photos, and it is not very often. If I need it more I would by a subscription.

Hi,

What you’re seeing isn’t unusual lately. Adobe has updated their licensing checks, so even versions that previously worked are now getting flagged. Once Adobe services detect an unlicensed install, the warning gets cached — reinstalling or trying older versions won’t fix it.

Disabling antivirus or re-patching won’t help either. This isn’t something you’re doing wrong.

I can’t help with cracks, but your real options are:

  • Use Adobe’s official trial / subscription
  • Fully clean Adobe with the official Adobe Cleaner Tool and install a legit copy
  • Switch to alternatives like Affinity Photo, GIMP, or Photopea

If multiple versions now show the same pop-ups, it’s Adobe’s side, not your setup.

Hope that saves you some frustration.
