How to get Adobe Photoshop for free?

Hi.

I am new here, but after doing some research on torrents and pirated software, anything labeled "TheWindowsForum" and "ThumperDC" is safe and trusted. I hope that's true!

I am so tired of being robbed by Adobe, and I am fully prepared to download a version of Photoshop I can use for free.

Currently I have the most recent versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Beta on my computer, but I just canceled my subscription and I won't be renewing. So my question is, where do I go from here? Which version of Photoshop should I use, and where do I download it?

As I've read through some of the threads on this forum, and some other places, it seems like I must block all Adobe apps from accessing the internet, but would that work for the versions I already have on my computer? It can't be that easy, can it?

Any help or advice is welcome! I hope you guys can help me.

Make sure you use a GOOD uninstaller program and get rid of all traces of PS from your computer. I found that the CCE (Creative Cloud Experience) was installed in a different place (Adobe PS was in Program Files and CCE was in Program Files (x86) ) and it caused all kinds of heartache! I finally got all of them uninstalled and now running PS 2026 for the last month without any issues.

I got this information from Thumper a long time ago.
I have Revo Uninstaller Pro installed and it can be configured to Trace programs being installed. I use that and it is very efficient.

Yes indeed. This is always on the list of the first apps loaded after a fresh install. Keeps that fresh install fresher longer.
Note to the OP: Are you sure you want to put yourself through the misery of having to continually mess with Photoshop? It is a royal pain. I have it installed on my Precision workstation and I am waiting for the ax to fall and get the "this is not a legit copy" bitch box, so I can have the fun of trying to get it to work again, meaning clean removal, clearing out the registry or starting over from a clean start.

Before I did a investigation on all what PS adds in the computer, I would get the "bitch box" every time I installed it. Once I found the other files/programs and wiped them out, the PS 2026 has been up and running for the past month without the box popping up on me.

Don't be shy and share your experience. Half this sight is dedicated to why PS isn't functioning. More than 1 of the OG here don't bother with it any longer. I suppose if you must have all the features. I was never that much of an artist. Been a science mind since the day I was born. Took an old GF in Maine who was becoming a physician that forced me out looking and evaluating everything.

PS does take a bit of learning to use it. Yeah, it's not for the weak and/or timid! It's not as much for an artist as it is for retouching photographs - which is what I do. I'll have to dig up a couple of photo's from the 1950's and post the results here.

I've been using Photoshop since it was launched...
In Macs Quadra 850 and 950, with INM AIM chips...
With astonishing 23 MB RAM...
Before that, it was Photostyler and Alias Eclipse, the best of all ...
Before that, pencils, brushes and aerographs...

Buy Adobe.

Problem solved

Hi. I'm new to this forum and just downloaded Thumper's Photoshop 2026. I am just a retired hobbyist and can't really afford the subscription. When I went to unzip the Adobe-GenP-3.6.9-CGP.zip file, Windows Defender immediately said it was a severe malware and quarantined it. I know the instructions said to disable antivirus software, but that seemed suspicious to me. What was your experience? Actually, I'll take anyone's experience installing this crack. I just want to make sure the Adobe-GenP-3.6.9-CGP file is safe before I disable Microsoft Defender on my Windows 10 Pro system.

Grasshopper you have much to learn if you are going to sail the seven seas.
You have discovered why I dislike defender so much. It acts more like an anti-piracy program than an A/V.
Always completely disable defender including real-time coverage. Find an on-line site like Virustotal.com and get opinions from multiple A/V programs. Screw defender. After you have PS installed, you can turn on <cringe> defender.

Thanks. I did upload the file to VirusTotal.com and half of the 70 programs flagged the file as a Trojan Horse, which is why I was concerned. If you are saying that all cracked files like this get flagged as Trojan Horses because of the nature of the hack, then that is a different matter. Is that what you are saying? That I can disregard the warning (turning off Defender) and install the crack anyway?

The very first thing I did after downloading the PS program, was to disconnect from the internet and turn OFF my anti-virus! If you have ever installed any version or Adobe product, you may want to do a complete uninstall of the products. I actually found some PS files in different places. Once all of those were gone, I installed PS and then BLOCKED PS from communicating with Adobe. It's been running for several weeks now and no bitch screens.
