Anoyone had the latest or indeed repeated old school issue where you get a popup agin your clock telling you "YOUR Anti Virus is about to expire!!!" or "You really should restart your netflix account and pay here" , you close the blop up and a web page appears telling you to pay for the service you probably dont have, close that and the Blop up reappears in an unending cycle.

1. On visiting a page and it asks you "Do you want notifications from this page" or similar, just like Drugs and smoking, Vaping etc "JUST SAY NO" youll get this junk happening. It happens in both MS EDGE and Google Chrome probably any of the variations too.

2. If you are a victim of this information for you to note. The pages you visit to pay for what you dont have contain SPOOF scripts that probably link you to the idiot in New Delhi who havent heard of getting a real job and prefer sitting on their collective butts and scamming folks out of cash. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT FILLING IN YOUR DEATILS ON THESE PAGES< YOUR INFORMATION IS NOT GOING WHERE IT SAYS IT IS.

No matter what browser you have installed, do the following:-
Open your browser menu, View attachment 6711 button at the top right of your browser window (Sorry its a non linked image, tried to get the ANSI code for it)

1756771720690-png.6712
now your looking for this item in both chromebased and MS beasd browsers.

View attachment 6713 Ok nearly done, after clicking this you have two options.

1 Click "NO" and continue the monotonous close browser, close popup, close browser, close popup ....

2. Click "YES", delete the damn thing and get on with your life.

These things are created using a powershell script in your browser. They get loaded when you visit a page and will activate once you do a reboot.

After youve reset the settings in your brower, reboot your PC and check its gone. IT HAS, ?????? Well in that case you can send me a dpmation on the Patreon page I havent got.

Amen. The most powerful A/V program is between your ears should you choose to use it. And please remember, of it sounds too good to be true, it isn't. Keep on moving.
I am finding Malware Bytes does a pretty good job of blocking this crap with the option of adding a block manually to anything that may leak thru. The only problem with MWB is it can be blocking things you need to see and needs to be disabled for a particular page if that happens. I know how much @AFFASocial loves that program, it's a bit of a pain but does a pretty good job of keeping the nasties out for me without being a complete PIA. Of course YMMV but I am on my 2nd year (Got both subs for really cheap on a deals I ran across) and still finding the program workable.
