Seriously I was around when the whole blockchain/cryptocurrency thing was born. It was for criminals and by criminals to hide illegal transactions, mostly drugs. So really what do you expect? Exactly what does a crypto unit represent? Can you eat it or power your car from it? Only if someone will gamble and accept it. It's only worth what someone is willing to give you for it. There are no crypto "standards".
