I have win 10 x64 and I first got a sentinel error, so I did
Run command prompt as administrator, type "cd c:\adcda2" without quotes and then type "regsvr32 ChilkatCrypt2.dll"

and then it changed to a runtime 217 error and then I got a new error about not matching the hardware, so I reran the getuid and keygen step but no difference

Hi,

It wont work on windows 10, try one windows 7 or windows XP.

I tried
Windows 7 - didnt work
Windows XP - works fine
Windows XP virtual machine within Windows 7 - gets error about "Sentinel key not found" when I launch the program

Has anyone had any success with this program running in a VM?

The problem with the Virtual Machine (VMWare) is that when I run GetUid it gives a different value every time I restart the VM OS, I have tried the HW ID from the host OS as well but that doesnt work either so I guess this software will only run on a PC running XP

I am now trying it in Virtual Box and will update

With virtual box it gives the same HW ID each time and it works!!!
