Windows 11 users who install the new operating system on devices that don't meet the minimum system requirements may experience problems installing the latest updates. Updates may not be installed on these devices. Windows users who want to install Windows 11 on devices that don't meet the system requirements can easily do so. Not all updates perform a Windows 11 system requirements check. However, users who are having problems installing updates that check system requirements may wonder how to bypass this check from the side of updates and thereby unblock the installation of such updates.

Bypassing TPM Checks to Install Windows 11 Updates​

  • Go to the Universal MediaCreationTool download page .
  • Download and extract the archive MediaCreationTool.bat-main.zip .
  • Go to the bypass11 folder .
  • Right-click on the file Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmdand select " Run as administrator ".
  • If you see the message "Windows has protected your computer", select "More Information" > "Run Anyway".
  • Confirm the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
  • A command prompt window will open, followed by a PowerShell window confirming that the changes have been applied to the TPM validation rim to install the updates.
In order to remove the changes made by the script, you must re-run the script Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd.
