Hi,
I downloaded the newest version of DVDfab I could find, but I'm not 100% sure what folder I need to copy the crack into? And is it an issue if I opened the program before I got it copied into the correct location? Thank you

That would be the installation folder.
Just out of curiosity, why DVDs? A bit of history from the author of that program. DVD Copy aka DVD shrink was the original one-click wonder program. The quality of those copies were horrible. It pioneered the process known as transcoding which was simply frames dropping which resulted in both a choppy motion or worse confused the decoder resulting in pixilation. Look at my handle I have been around the DVD scene forever and to be quite honest I haven't burned a DVD since the pandemic. DVD-Rs are not the best for archival unless in a cool and lightless environment. Either one will deteriorate the chemical layer that stores the data on the DVD-R. Factory pressed DVDs are not subject to light deterioration.

Open your anti virus add C:\Program Files\DVDFab\DVDFab 12 in to exclusions list.

How can I be sure the version I downloaded from TPB is the original one? is there a hash to verify it? it comes with a DLL called "I_LOVE_U_MY_HONEY" and I'm not sure I should trust that.

You obviously know nothing my friend. I ran the board altbindvdr for years. I wrote and registered the charter for the Usenet group a.b.dvdr which at the time was the only way to transfer files that large. We wrote the rules on compressing a dual layer to a size that would fit on a single layer DVDR since dual layers weren't available until way later.

Usually, the crack folder should be copied into the main installation directory of DVDFab (where the program’s .exe file is). If you opened the program before applying the crack, just close it, copy the crack files to the right folder, then restart the program. Make sure to disable internet access or antivirus temporarily if it blocks the crack. Always use caution with cracks, as they can pose security risks.
