Help installing Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2023.003.20201 (x64) FULL [TheWindowsForum.com] please

Hi everyone, I've just tried to download Adobe Acrobat using this file which was on The Pirate Bay:

And after following the instructions on multiple occasions I'm unable to install it. Each time, I get a pop-up saying that this isn't an authentic version and that I can have 5-days grace to use it before it will stop working. So, I just uninstalled and tried again and again. However, now when I try to install it, it comes up with a new pop-up that won't even let me install it at all now. It says 'Error Applying Transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.'

I'm following all the instructions but now can't get past this pop-up. But even before this, I was disabling the antivirus, doing the patch, and doing everything in the install help file but with no luck. Does anyone have this file working on their PC? Has anyone encountered this before. I have almost every other Adobe program installed without any problem whatsoever, but this one is really eluding me.

That release is most likely broken or badly repacked. The 5-day grace message followed by “Error Applying Transforms” usually means Adobe’s licensing was triggered and cached — reinstalling won’t fix it.


Disabling antivirus doesn’t help here. If you get that transform error, the installer itself is corrupt or incompatible.


I can’t help with cracks, but your options are:

• Use Adobe’s official trial
• Run Adobe Cleaner Tool and install a legit version
• Use an alternative like PDF-XChange or Foxit

You didn’t miss a step — it’s just a bad release.

Once you install a version that calls home as a trial, "that's pretty much all she wrote" as they say.
Adobe programs are tricky as all get out. There are a couple of posts in the forum that go into detail all the steps that need to be taken for a successful crack, even then no guarantees they will last forever. Most folks end up using alternatives that last.
As joanneee says, if you have to have the Adobe product let's say for work, well you are making money using their product, don't they deserve to be compensated as well? Pirated products really don't belong in a work environment for a whole bunch of reasons. Personally I have never, nor would I consider installing pirated stuff on the computers of companies I worked for under any circumstances, it's a matter of personal accountability. I do know a story of a company that did get caught with pirated copies and the fines and legal fees were huge. Problem is at best is a disgruntled employee turning you in to get even, it happens.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I thought it might be broken or badly packaged but assumed with so many people having downloaded it and still be available that it would be alright. Obviously not. I'll either do as you say and try an alternative or think of something else. I assumed as the torrent has TheWindowsForum in the title that I wasn't asking about something controversial here Merry Christmas.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I appreciate your thoughts on the difficulties of getting these packages to work as intended. As you say, maybe the alternative will suffice. I have to say I'm a little perplexed by some of the responses here. I assumed that as the torrented program I downloaded has TheWindowsForum in the title, that it wouldn't be such a controversial issue to be raising here. Obviously, the cracker/packager is implying an affiliation with this forum and that if any help was needed, this was the place to come. Thanks for your time

Even better set up a sandbox (virtual machine) on your system if you have the resources to support it. These are pirated programs keep in mind. Not everyone out there is your friend.

1. Make sure there's no Adobe tasks running in task manager
2. Open the crack/patch file in the Adobe folder as administrator
3. Click the 'pop-up' button (this creates a Windows firewall rule that blocks the subscription pop-up)
4. Done

A SANDBOX is for want of a better description, a computer within a computers Memory. Physically in the real world it doesnt exist. It is a creation you make in your computers memory. So it uses a file called a VHD or virtual Hard drive. It works within you computer just like any other computer, BUT, Anything you run on it only works in that memory slot or VHD. Nothing from it can or does leak out of the VHD into your PC and so it makes testing of files and viruses safe on your machine.

Generally software to use to create these virtual PC devices is VMPlayer (personal fave), Combo Box (great for historical OS systems), as well as a host of others. Generally each has Virtual devices inside its program to manipulate the installed OS on the virtual Drive as your Virtual Machine would if all the parts were real.
Depending on the virtual machine used you can set up loads of wonderful things, graphics card simulation, audio simulation, network simulation

This is my personal playground setup for when I use the VHD environment. Generally for software testing on a generic PC.
