Scroll down to "Make Windows 11/10 notify you before downloading Updates" and choose the option you feel is correct for you. If an update sounds sketchy do a little searching and see what's going on before you install it. Just to deny all updates is foolish, you are leaving the back door unlocked. The places this crew typically visits that is asking for trouble.

To disable the Windows Update service in Services Manager, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R. Type services.msc, then hit Enter.
• Search for Windows Update.
