Photoshop v24.1.0.166 2023 VCRuntime issue

Hello everybody,

I downloaded photoshop the one posted by ThumperTM.
I followed all instructions and copied the files in the right directories but I keep getting:
The code-excecution couldn't be continued because VCRUNTIEM140_1.dll isn't found. You can fix this problem possibly by restarting the program.
It won't work if I restart or redownload. Anyone know how to fix this?

It sounds like your antivirus removed the .dll file. Most of the time you can exclude the file that is being flagged and then re-extract the package because most of the time those don't get flagged until your extract that zip file that you downloaded.
