Hi,

For ages I use the 1337x.to website to browse around for open-source files ++ ;)
OS: windows 10, browser: firefox and adblocker: adblocker ultimate (a porcupine with a red shield with a white lock in it.)

For a while when I try to open torrent files, or select the latest uploads as first listed, there is a new tab opening met amazon, ali express, a virus scanner packet or other kinds of adds. Anyone know what is happening here and how to get rid of this behaviour?

Create an account, login, no ads/pop-ups.

I'm always logged in on my account, as I sometimes want to comment on torrents. It still happens to get redirected, even when I click on the SETTINGS tab, on the left of the LOGOUT tab.

uBlock Origin

I don't have a Pi-hole. Does it mean I just need the right adblocker that can hold these pop-ups. Or does that work differently than a Pi-hole?
