I'm making a bootable flash drive and running rufus in 6 hours now because this file "WIN51IP.SP3 (10 bytes)" seems no end. What is wrong with this? How should I fix this?

The ISO file is working fine, check your USB stick and your PC.

When i try to install i get this error:
The following value in the .SIF file by Setup is corrupted or missing.
Value 0 on the line section SourceDisksFiles] with key "SP2.cab"
Setup cannot continue. To quit setup, press F3.

i'm trying to install using rufus

any ideas?

Get some rewritable CD's or use USB stick.

Hi

I have an old Asus A7N8X Delux mobo that boots from a SATA hard drive. Installing my old version of XP, required using 3rd party SATA drivers on a floppy, so I downloaded the torrent for this version and burned the ISO. It seems to install ok, without pressing the F key for the 3rd party drivers, but then crashes to a blue screen after rebooting. It does that reliably even after reinstalling several times.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

If you downloaded XP by ThumperDC TechTools those keys must work!! TESTED AND WORKING GREAT!<e>

I had the same problem. None of the keys worked from the download info. So, I came here to techtools.net and found a 4th<br/>
key that wasn't in the download info: DFYXB-8FR68-FK2DX-Y2RDR-M4C6M This key worked! <br/>
I don't know why the other keys didn't work, and yes I triple checked each key input, but none worked until this one. <br/>

Hello I have a problem. I downloaded PROFESSIONAL SP3 Jan 2015 + SATA Drivers [TechTools]
and used rufus to make USB bootable. I started setup and it copied lots of files to folders etc. And after first reboot when it was going to continue it's setup it said this: The file 'asms' on Windows XP professional Service Pack 3 CD is needed.

I have an option to search in GlobalRoot\Device\HarddiskVolume4\I386 . I try to retry it but it doesnt file the file. I dont know what adress I should write in. When i look into that USB memory there is a folder called asms and its adress is F:\I386\ASMS .

could someone help me how to continue my XP setup ?
