I have tested for this release and 1st one and second serial works great. I really dont know what you are doing wrong.

Is it possible that the way I burnt it onto disc could affect something like this? Or maybe that I used ImgBurn to convert the xp folder into an iso and then burnt the iso to disc?

This file was already ISO, i dont know why you want to convert an ISO file to an ISO file?

I think I just realised one thing that was going on. When I downloaded the file I didn't realise I didn't have virtual clone drive installed at the time, so the icon was the winrar icon. Hence my extracting and creating an ISO out of it. I wonder if that has had an effect? I also forgot I used Rufus and a usb not disk.

hi thumper. i just want to know what to do to my installation of win. xp sp3. while im installing it, there's a message that says "the file "asms" on windows XP Service Pack 3 CD is needed, type the path where the file is located and then click OK". i used a USB device to do the installation. thanks! more power!

Please burn iso to CD and try again.

But it doesnt ask me for serial key ?

What I do is insert my bootable pend drive and then it boots from it, says preparing files and does that for a while and later on it says it can detect any previous installed versions of windows xp or so, this isnt a valid windows cd pls insert a valid windows cd.

I currently am on windows 7 pro need to downgrade to xp, moreover it doesnt ask for serial keys too

Hi,

Please wipe your Hard drive and try again, i noticed that some users had problem installing XP with USB so give a try with CD.
