Does anyone here use a VPN that is friendly with Linux software? I am very disappointed in some of the VPNs and couldn't find an effective one.

I use Express VPN and that has a Linux app. I don't use Linux so I don't know how well it works.

I use PIA (Private Intenety Access) on windows and linux and it works ok for myself, I think {PIA do one for kali as well.

I concur with "Private Internet Access" (PIA). Although I've used it for 3 years or so and have always gotten it working, in the last 2 yrs it's remarkably easy. Debian 10 but Debian 9 works as well.

I use PrivateVPN. They do not have an app under Linux, but it is easy to install with OpenVPN. The do offer installation help via Teamviewer! (resently they fixed a killswitch on my Linux computer)
