Is there any way to do a manual update of Malwarebytes database? Currently running V 4.6.7 and it hasn't updated in quite some time now. Should I just uninstall it?

I haven't used malwarebytes last 3 years, it pissed me off with some pop-up banners.

I for some silly reason am running the cracked pro version. It's updating the DB once again. I agree, it as nervous as Windows Defender. You can disable it and you can have it ignore stuff it flags. It's not bad, doesn't suck up a pantload of resource but more suitable for inexperienced users.

I revisited Malwarebytes. It's not such a pain anymore, does a pretty good job. I am using the paid current version. It gives you control when it does detect a possible problem, many others including Defender/Security.

Thnx, i may give a try again.

Sorry Folks, Malwarebytes S U C K S
Since ublock origin no longer works with Chrome and more to follow MB gives me similar control. Yeah MB is kind of nervous and blocks access to some sites it shouldn't, it's the best solution for the short term for me.
