I still question the value of those all in one 3rd party driver update programs other than making referrers affiliates fees and software publishers cash. Heck even the manufacturer's sites and their "Vetted" driver updates sometimes cause problems. One can argue if it ain't broke don't fix it but will concede sometimes modest performance gains may happen. Usually word gets out in regards to performance improvements from newer drivers with the exception of 3rd party graphics cards.

A name that will live in infamy.

Its been a long time since I saw a useful one of them actually correctly diagnose an issue in Windows. On that occasion it pointed to a dodgy ram conncetion error that stopped getting a clock signal occasionally once the board got warm. First and only time ive ever made a tunnel to pick up fan air and point it at a chip on the board to keep it cool with air from a system fan.

Bring back DR. WATSON its been years since Ive seen that, best internal diag tool I ever used.

Nice BSOD program.
