Here ya go.
Mostly stuff I already have installed on one or more systems and I am happy with this freeware in no particular order.
1. OBS Studio
Pretty incredible piece of software. A nice lightweight live video studio for streaming. Originally for gamers but very versatile.

2. BurnAware
Believe it or else I still get users needing stuff on optical media. Don't ask, I tried. Works nicely.

3. ImgBurn reboot (clean no OpenCandy)
The original DVD burning/copying/manipulation program. Written by the legendary'LIGHTNING UK!'
Why his site now bundles the download with OpenCandy is a mystery. DVDs are about dead anyway. Here's a link to an unbundled version.
4. AIMP
"AIMP provides all the basic tools you'd expect from a music player. However, it evolves into something special once you discover its special features. It supports more than 20 audio formats and 32-bit digital audio, and it converts between various formats, too"
I really enjoy this program. I have a pretty good sound system attached to my PC and the Sound Effects feature lets me tailor the output for my system. ( "I like it me." credit: Boozo Chavis)
5. CrystalDiskInfo
Most disk info programs are heavy slow and cumbersome. Crystal Disk gets in there and gets the job done in a hurry. Not a great diagnostic program, but let's you know of trouble in a flash.
6. EaseUS Partition Master
Still a great program even the free edition. Don't mess with this program unless you completely understand what a partition is and how a file system is constructed. Not a huge read and it's always good to learn something.

7. FastStone Image Viewer
To quote my best friend Kevin, "Opinions are like buttholes. Everybody has them and most of them stink"
Here's my opinion. Nice little lightweight photo viewer with some basic editing features. I like it and that's my opinion. Photoshop it's not and isn't trying to be.
8. KODI
I have to admit this is one fun program, runs on about any platform. On face value it's a pretty tame IPTV program.
But once you dig in and get some unofficial add-ons it gets fun and challenging with big rewards. I wouldn't dream of using the add-ons w/o a VPN. You shouldn't too.

9. 7-Zip
Yeah I know. It's had it's ups and downs with security issues in the past but they are patched quickly. Keep it updated. Does a great job.
10. TOR Browser
For some it's a gateway to the darkweb. I wouldn't know, i don't go there. A lot of sites block it. It's a curiosity for me. Can't hurt and it is amusing. No VPN needed for those of you too cheap to invest in one. We are talking free stuff here.

11. Free YouTube Download
It's free, downloads YouTube and it's popular. Why they haven't been sued for aiding piracy is a mystery to me. It's free before everyone starts going BS on me for this one, Okay?
12. CCleaner
Honorable mention. Yes there is a free version. Surprise!

13. Rufus
VERY clever piece of software. Has revolutionized modern computing. A little cryptic to use so check out some instructions if you plan to go out on your own with this one.
14. MediCat USB
This is a repost. Super bit of diagnostics and utilities in one package. A must have for techs and anyone serious about computers. The author is a member here and huge props to the man. Be careful if you don't know what you are doing with this. Get comfortable playing on a toss-out Windows install in case you have a boo-boo. Enjoy.

PortableApps com
Not an app but a cool site if you aren't already aware of it. For me it's a lot of fluff but the utilities are very useful. Check it out.
Well that's all I can think of at the moment. I had some downtime today and I promised. Have fun!
