What does it mean if Windows isn't supported? - Microsoft Support

It means your Windows version no longer gets security updates, bug fixes, or technical support from Microsoft. It’s best to upgrade to a supported version to stay secure and compatible with modern software.

It means more than anything, Christams is approaching and of course you want to have the latest batch of Gloatware so your buddies will get jealous and go buy it for themselves.

Windows 12 is on the way, Windows XIII is in the pipeline and XIV wont be far behind, ready to make a few gzillion $'s for a company that just changes the name on the box but is tied to Backward compatability, just in case it all fails.

Don't forget all those device manufacturers who refuse to update their products drivers forcing their stuff (printers are a good example) in early obsolescence. Now why do they think I am go running out and buy an updated model of their thing if they forced me to do so in the first place.
Freaking Windows 11 TPM BS requirements are the biggest example. Be glad Rufus has your back.
HP printers keep running thanks to some talented owners authoring or modifying other models drivers.

Money Money Money !!! What can I say . All the Oses are all compiled one on top of the other. The name changes . How you get to the same places changes just making everything more complicated . Everything is still there with added extra crap how not nice and they want to be paid for it .
