Not new to torrents, iso's, etc.... but I used PowerISO to make a bootable USB as right now, I have no OS on my hdd. Yet, Windows Boot Manager pops up and it won't boot, even tho I've chosen to boot from USB from BIOS. Any suggestion would be great

u may to use windows 7 usb download tool n dump the iso to ur usb drive.. it is free

If the above link doesn't work "marlasinger" then you can remove the secondary option to boot from HDD so it has to boot from USB, then change it afterwards when the OS is installed. If not, it could be a faulty installation to your USB.

am downloading the windows 7 (thanks for sharing it), as I too have no os on my pc..it seems to have run away. My question is do you have to burn that file to disk or can I put it on an external hard drive and load it from there. I know you can go into the BIOS and choose boot from cd

You can burn it on DVD or you can use USB

Do you have to unzip those files and then burn to a dvd or do they need to be ziped while on the dvd?

You should burn .ISO file! do not extract or something eles.
