Minisforum is offering a pretty good deal on a 12 gen i7 for a decent price. I definitely go bare bones and either pick up good deals or raid the junk box as required.

$359 is a very temping price. To be honest I haven't had to purchase a system in 20 years, one of the perks of my old job, now I am confined to Cisco networking gear firewalls, switches and the like. I don't really have a screaming need for a new system but I am going to have to start buying them again.
