For others installing: remember to re-enable your internet only after setup is complete. Also, always scan the installer for safety before running.

Thanks for your reply. I always scan a program after I download before installing. With Bitdefender. I used to use ESET Internet Security for many years and was getting warning messages from ESET when I was seeding with qBittorrent. I got in contact with an Author with qBittorrent his name is Sledgehammer. He wrote back to me that ESET used to be good but declined in protection significantly. The Firewall in ESET is very complicated to configure. I got step by step information from the authorised sellers in Hong Kong by emails. I was informed that ESET was going regional which means if I paid for another subscription it would only work in Hong Kong. No other country and it was confirmed by ESET Australia. I did a lot of searching and saw Bitdefender was highly rated.
I selected Bitdefender Internet Security because it has the Firewall option.
I found leftovers in the Firewall, expressvpn and nordvpn. Bitdefender support provided me information by emails and emailed a link to a clean complete uninstall of Bitdefender and then a link to re-install. The Firewall options were changed which made much easier and quicker to block any access to the internet. Everything in this Laptop connected to the internet goes through the Firewall and the only requirement is to select On or Off.
